About the Webmaster
Brian Dobson has been actively making websites and editting web pages for over 3 years. He has a number of websites to his credit. the biggest has been Crazy's Web mall at http://www.geocities.com/SouthBeach/Port/6643/store.html
In May 1999, he envisioned using the information Superhighway and his Webpage (HTML) editing talents to make a newer medium for business advertising. During Labor Day Weekend, Ellensburg is jumping with activity as the Ellensburg Rodeo (The 5th largest PRCA Rodeo in the nation) commences. During this time, he had noted that Family and Friends from outside the Kittitas County area had a hard time finding such things as lodgings and services. Through this Website, he envisioned that any prospective visitor or new resident could access information on businesses in Ellensburg Washington.
Of Course, keeping a website of such content, accurate, intact, and visually appealing is not an inexpensive venture. So he made a site solely for the purpose of inexpensive advertising and the occasional article of interest.
The Internet is the newest and by far largest medium for this purpose. This site is just the beginning! Big plans are in the works for this website, and in order to make those plans a reality, Mr. Dobson has to sell ad space to make the website what it really can be!
Among those plans, are articles about and for the Valley, written and submitted by the people, for the people.
